The North Carolina Tar Heels are not back to being ranked in the most recent AP college basketball poll. Hubert Davis’ team is moving in the right direction, but they a longer journey yet to travel before they’re back in the good graces of AP voters. Armando Bacot needs to continue posting consistent double-doubles, RJ Davis needs to take control of the team, along with Caleb Love, Leaky Black, Pete Nance and everyone else taking steps in the right direction.
UNC’s new Offensive Coordinator Chip Lindsey was introduced at a press conference on Monday. The comforting thing for Tar Heels is that he’ll essentially run the same offense, with the same necessary personnel, and same verbiage. The last thing you would want to do is waste your last year with a quarterback of Drake Maye’s capability. So bringing in an OC with the right mix of being part of what’s already going on while still being willing to challenge the UNC status quo is important. Drake Maye is on board. So am I.
The UNC women participate in the inaugural Jumpman Invitational tonight in Charlotte. The ladies take on Michigan, a similar looking team. Carolina will like to continue their balanced attack under Coach Courtney Banghart’s direction.

We have good shooters but bad shot selection and players off the bench are putting up shots as soon as they get in the game. They have to ease in to the game first.
I think we could’ve predicted this that we would be a worse 3 pt shooting team but better in the paint when we replaced Manek with Nance. Rj and Caleb should just start hitting more open looks though and Nance also is a great shooter he had an off day
I will take improved play over irrelevant rankings in a New York minute. I feel like this team is slowly starting to realize their potential and how crazy dangerous they can actually be when they play together. Never look past anyone. Never play at the level of competition. Always being the dominant team on the court who dictates the flow. Tomorrow night is no exception. Michigan is another worthy opponent with a good coach in Juwan Howard. They have Hunter Dickinson who is very talented as well as the coach's son,Jett Howard. Charlotte is primarily Chapel Hill 2.0(as is Greensboro) so Tar Heel Nation will be there. Now I want that team that fought on Saturday in MSG to be there as well. No let ups. Attack the basket. Share the ball. Have energy. FIGHT!!! Play Carolina basketball. Should be another good game vs Michigan!
No, and I don't believe they should be concerned with being ranked. This team is gaining its footing and really plugging holes that actually keep springing up. It's like they all were trying to be a plumber but when you have a leaks that floods the whole house you're going to need more than a plumber, if that makes sense?
The multiple leaks had them and the coaching staff all being plumbers, all of them are not plumbers. I believe now they have identified the plumber. Now they are in the process of developing a plan to repair, replace, man hours, personnel and scheduling and maintenance.
You can't be ranked at this point nobody can live in this house. So you saying that was a miracle win. That's what happened when you're at this stage but you can see the organization happening. Tools material, manpower and Organizations. From top to bottom. Now we'll see if the next call is a company you would recommend, have to recall for issues or fire.

Rankings are not totally unimportant, but not most important. Last season was great example. Keep improving heels !!!

They haven't had a bad loss technically. I think we could of been anywhere from 20-30 Just beat a really good ohio st team. Everyone knows this is a top 25 team.
