North Carolina found itself in a dog fight with Michigan on Wednesday evening and came out victorious (and a little beat up). Armando Bacot had a second straight game of putting up 25+ points. Caleb Love and RJ Davis each fill just shy of hitting the 20-point mark themselves.
Leaky Black is the unsung hero of this team and turned in a couple highlight-reel defensive plays in addition to his nine points and 10 rebounds. Additionally Black became the first player in UNC history with at least 600 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists, 50 blocks, and 100 steals. He’s quite close to moving the points threshold to 700 and the rebounds to 600.
Wednesday was Early Signing Day for Mack Brown and the Carolina football team. They inked a 20-person early class, 10 of which are rated four stars by at least one of the four major recruiting services. WR Chris Culliver is the prize of the class at this point.

"Brawl ball" does not work against this team, it just brings out the best in them. Better to let them sleep walk and make bad passes and miss lots of threes and hope they can't stay in it or get back in it with those traps that you know are coming if they are trailing in crunch time. Loving Leaky! Armando is a gladiator! Love and Davis are tenacious. Pete should take more shots. Puff is Leaky light. Looking forward to seeing more from the bench. I hope we don't lose key guys to the portal.

Great game though
I went into yesterday's game thinking maybe Michigan won't make me angry today, but I was being so optimistic. However, they made Davis's Dudes angry too. I love that Coach so animated so that his players knew that it was time punch back. They punched back and punched back hard. The refs never should have let it get to the point where there were 4 technical calls. They shouldn't have let it slide. It was like they swallowed their whistles. There is a way to not call ticky tacks, but not let them get elbowed in the face — stepped on top of with a kick at Caleb. The only thing I would have loved more is if some more bench players had gotten minutes. I think that would have benefited everybody, but boy did they do well.
The game would have been much more dominant for us had we knocked down more free throws. It was an off night for them; I'm not too concerned. I also want to see less turnovers; a decent chunk of Michigan's points came from turnovers. I know we still have room to improve, but I'm actually happy with what I've seen from this team these past 4 games. As long as we continue to gradually improve, we will be in great shape by March.

Good game under the circumstances….. Refs. Seems to always be something and last night it was free throws. Oh, and limited bench points again.
The confidence that Leaky is playing with this year makes us a lot better and opens the floor for Mondo. He's hitting enough three's to where they have to respect his shot and he gets in the paint pretty easy when he chooses to attack. It's really good to see him playing with confidence.
