North Carolina At Chapel Hill

The North Carolina basketball team returns to action on Friday at Pittsburgh in their third ACC game of the season, looking to get their conference record above .500 for the first time. We preview the game on today’s show. Armando Bacot has averaged 27 points over the last two games and will work to continue his dominant scoring trend against the Panthers.

Jeff Capel’s team looks almost nothing like the team that beat the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill last season. Pitt doesn’t expect John Hughley to play. But Pitt is off to a 2-0 start in conference games.

For the Tar Heels, we’ll be keeping our eyes on any changes that have occurred since last time out against Michigan, the Wednesday before Christmas. Will RJ Davis and Caleb Love be able to continue settling into a better offensive stride, particularly their shooting from deep? Will Seth Trimble continue to grow in his minutes and strong playmaking? Will Bacot have another offensive explosion?
