The Virginia Tech Hokies downed the North Carolina Tar Heels, 68-65 in a matchup of Top 15 teams. Georgia Amoore led the Hokies with 24 points and 6 assists in the win. Elizabeth Kitley added 13 points and 7 rebounds for VT, Cayla King added 12 points and 8 rebounds, and D’Asia Gregg scored 11 points and grabbed 10 boards in the win. Deja Kelly led the Tar Heels with 21 points and Paulina Paris added 15 points for UNC.

A very competitive game, either team could have won. A couple of mistakes with seconds left costed Carolina. I thought Paris was very impressive. The girl is quick. I hope they call her number more often.
