Miami picked up a close win at home against No. 22 North Carolina, 62-58. The Canes held the Tar Heels to just 35% shooting in the victory. Haley Cavinder led the scoring for Miami with 16 points. Jasmyne Roberts came a rebound shy of a double double with 10 points and 9 rebounds. For the Tar Heels, Deja Kelly’s 19 points pushed her over the 1,000 point mark for her career in the loss.
