North Carolina picked up its third ACC win of the season with a home victory over Notre Dame, 81-64. A big part of the win was Carolina’s +13 rebounding advantage, thanks in part to a dominant performance from Armando Bacot, whose 21 points and 13 boards were tops for both teams. Caleb Love had 18 points, RJ Davis had 13 points with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals, and Puff Johnson came off the bench to add 11 points and 6 rebounds. For the Fighting Irish, Nate Laszewski had 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead his team in both categories.

Coach Davis needs to trust his bench more because Love and Davis play out of control sometimes because they know they can do whatever they want too much freedom.
