North Carolina At Chapel Hill

North Carolina looks to get back to their winning ways as they travel to Louisville this weekend to take on the woeful Cardinals, who have two wins to their name. Questions marks surround the availability of UNC’s front court – Will Armando Bacot and/or Pete Nance be able to play? If not, Hubert Davis will rely heavily on his back court to carry the load – RJ Davis, Caleb Love, and Seth Trimble. He’ll also need the veteran leadership of Leaky Black and Puff Johnson’s intangibles, not to mention another strong performance from freshman Jalen Washington.

The women’s team picked up a win at Virginia on Thursday night with 21 points each from Kennedy Todd-Williams (career high) and Deja Kelly. Freshman Paulina Paris didn’t score as much (seven points) but did have five assists and zero turnovers. Courtney Banghart’s club used a closing 22-2 run to pull off the 11 point win.
