No. 22 North Carolina won a tough game against No. 11 NC State at home, 56-47. It was a defensive battle the whole way, as the Wolfpack shot just 29% from the floor, and the Tar Heels just 30%. For Carolina, Kennedy Todd-Williams’ effort was critical. She scored 15 points, had 4 rebounds, an assist, two blocks, and two steals. Alyssa Ustby had 9 points, a career-high 18 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. For NC State, Jakia Brown-Turner’s 14 points led the team. Camille Hobby added 13 points and 6 rebounds.
