If Kentucky were to at least get to the final 4 if not win it all in 2023-24 with that mega class, I would be more than okay with a pretty mid year in 2024-25, because of there not being as much talent in the 2024 class
This recruitment was about the connections in the pipeline in NYC to North Carolina ( RJ Davis, Cole Anthony, Elliott, Ian) all from the tri-state area! Not to mention Chris Brickley (Ian's trainer) Who's an Louisville alumni, & Rick Pitino loyalist
Can't get them all. I mean this is the 2024 class, I'm sure the staff put more energy in getting the 2023 class than anything. And TBH Im not too impressed with Ian Jackson. He is a good potential NBA caliper player yeah, but I don't think he is going to be a huge miss or anything like that. This is an early commitment for UNC. And in today's era I wouldn't get my hopes up until the kid suits up and actually is on the court. I know Kentucky has an elite class coming in next year, but like I said I'm not getting my hopes up until that time comes. Because kids decommit all the time.
Cole Anthony and coby white were both one and done guards at UNC and that was recently. Do research before you just say stuff lol. Nas Little was also one and done
He was probably sold on the ball will be in his hands and get as many shots as he wants. He can't get that here at UK. Cal will find a replacement no doubt but this would have been a nice start to the 2024 class!
Hubert Davis went to a national championship in his first year. Heβs been twice as an assistant coach and won once in 2017. He played in the NBA for 12 years. This not hard to get..
Yea well good for North Carolina coach calapari keep getting top classes who donβt win the championship.Yβall slip in all the time

I donβt ever wanna hear Cal bring up the Gold Standard again we should not be losing recruits to North Carolina

Perhaps Ian wanted to play more than four months of college basketball. interesting for sure.
