He doesn’t want to say it because he’s a ref, and I get that, but the reason that crews are so inconsistent from game to game is that the quality of refs in the ACC is garbage. That’s just how it is. When you are hiring untalented people to do hard things, they’re gonna look like crap doing them. ACC should invest more in training, pay them correctly, and hold them accountable. Semi-pro/amateur refs are fine for old college basketball but now it has become an actual industry and players are making big money, it’s time for the league to operate like the business it is and have pros running the games

Bull "xxxx"……..tendencies have no place in a game….a foul is a foul…and anyone who saw this game could see the difference in how this game was called at the different ends of the court. State's Smith drove to the basket a dozen times and went to the line one time. Carolina was hand checking on defense and nothing was being called.
