The Tar Heels overcame a tough comeback effort from the Orange to take their second road victory of the season, 72-68. Pete Nance paced the Tar Heels in scoring with a strong 21 points to go with 4 rebounds. Caleb Love had 15 points on an efficient 3-5 from beyond the arc along with 5 assists. Armando Bacot had 18 points and 8 rebounds in the win. For Syracuse, Joe Girard and Judah Mintz combined for 35 points.

As usual there were questionable calls on both sides. I am so glad my HEELS were able to get another win!! Syracuse is always a tough team to play especially on their home court. Heels led most of the way, but Cuse didn't give up. It went down to the wire and l'm so happy my HEELS won. Good game. Hope RJ will recover with a week before our next game. He was constantly being hit in the face, knocked down and numerous other attacks. Never can take a team for granted. Cuse made some excellent shots, their zone defense was tough and they never backed down. It was a good game. Great to see Caleb hitting his 3 pointers tonight. All in all we were able to keep the lead throughout the game. Jane Riggs go heels!
Y’all bringing up the refs like UNC doesn’t play a bunch of games like that even at home 😂 if Syracuse won y’all wouldn’t complain much ab the refs. It’s not like Syracuse is bad they just didn’t win tonight.

Now college hoops is completely corrupted! I was willing to let go of the complete one sidedness throughout the game and then the last twenty seconds happened. Edwards never made contact and only grazed the ball, Mintz was driving while the defender was in his face and backtracking the whole time, and Love cleared Mintz and pushed him to the ground. Which one of those isn't true? They are all true! Carolina was gifted six points on those three plays. The rest of the game was a joke as well, but wow were those last twenty seconds absurd! The corruption in sports is ridiculous. There were so many absurd one sided calls, but the Mintz play towards the end says it all. Are you not allowed to go up for a shot if the defender is in your face? Can you only shoot from the hip or underhand the ball? What a joke! There was another Mintz play earlier where he should have had a three point play and they called similar nonsense. If a team needs this much help do you really want them in the tournament?

Garbage reffing all around. Flagrant? Not his fault the other guy is 4” shorter and right where his elbows are during a fucking basketball move. Trash trash trash like they’ve been all season.
Refs favored UNC big time down the stretch, ACC Network deletes any comments criticizing the refs. It's like living in a communist country where everything is rigged. Hopefully they won't cut off my internet or come and get me.
