North Carolina’s two big men, Pete Nance and Armando Bacot, were the two players who helped the Tar Heels get a road win over Syracuse. Nance was the Tar Heels’ leading scorer with 21 points, including the go-ahead basket with 17.7 seconds left in the game. He also had four rebounds, four steals, three assists, and a block. Armando Bacot finished the game with 18 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.
