UNC is softer than mashed bananas, wasting their great potential. I thought they would fight hard and play out of their minds for this win after losing at Pitt. But Pitt showed the fight instead. Unless they find the fire that Pitt showed, Carolina is headed for an 8 to 10 seed in the national tourney, and going home the first weekend. It's up to them whether this is a season we will remember…or quickly forget. There is still time and opportunity, but they are running out.
Heels could have won this game had they pounded down low more. An announcer said they should have gone more to Bacot but they didn’t. Instead, it looks like Hubert is trying to get the bench more experience and depth for when the games really matter. Nickel knows what he’s doing on both ends. Dunn’s D is up and coming. Neutral here, but that was definitely a foul. Pitt got away with one. A foul is a foul and it looked like the ref was scared to call it at that moment.
