No. 11 North Carolina dropped Virginia at home with a comfortable 73-62 victory. The Tar Heels shot a strong 53% while holding the Cavaliers to 38% from the floor. Kayla McPherson led the Tar Heels in her home debut, scoring 14 points while adding 4 assists and 2 rebounds. Deja Kelly added 13 points as 5 Tar Heels finished in double figures. VIrginia’s London Clarkson led all scorers with 23 points in the loss.
