When Jason Capel was head coach at App State he would not release Devonte Graham's early signing to allow him to go to NC State-so he eventually wound up at Kansas
we didnt have a negative word about capel until he decided to talk crazy about unc. nobody blames him personally for 8-20. using twitter as a sample for real life people is not cool.
1) Gillio is insufferable
2) Most UNC fans were neutral on Capel until last night. If he thought that was bad, wait till the next time he’s in town
He was an asshole in person in college. Still an asshole.
Let's be real. The fans you are describing are a very small part of the fan base and they tend to be the loudest. There are actual "fanatics" in every base, but all the UNC fans I know are very level headed about the program and expectations. There is only one former player that is shunned by virtually every fan that I come in contact with, and it isn't Capel.
Chapel is simply full of shit. Just say it.
