North Carolina vs. Duke: In Jon Scheyer’s first game as the Blue Devils’ head coach against the Tar Heels, Duke won in Cameron Indoor, 63-57. Neither team shot over 40.0% from the floor in the game, but Duke outscored UNC 20-2 in fastbreak points. Jeremy Roach carried the offensive load for the Blue Devils. He had 20 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Dereck Lively II was a monster on defense, blocking eight shots and grabbing a career-high 14 rebounds. Lively also had four points on 2-3 shooting. For North Carolina, Armando Bacot had another double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Leaky Black added 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Good win for DUKE
Really proud and happy for this Duke team, this team has fought so hard all year long and have gave everything they had to give every single game. They have improved all season long and are getting better and better every single game. Win or Lose i bleeDblue but it definitely feels better to win 😈 and I'm so glad these young men got the W tonight over our biggest rivals and I hope they celebrate and enjoy tonight and get straight back to work tomorrow because Duke basketball has a big week and 2 tough road games ahead. This team is definitely on the rise. Duke4Life, Let Go Devils!!! Oh and congratulations coach Sheyer on becoming just the 2nd coach to start 12-0 at home in their 1st season as head coach(Hubert Davis was the 1st last season at unc).

Another tough one for the Heels. Duke look like the upper classman an the Heels look like freshman. Hubert Davis doesn't have a clue what he is doing. Pete Nance needs to ride the pine an give the bench more playing time. Hard to believe he is a 5 year senior. At 6-11 he can't block shots nor rebound unless the ball accidentally hit his hand. Shooting in horrendous. The Tarheel coaching staff need to be replaced. They aren't developing these kids. Bacot is basically a low post player that haven't developed a 10-15 jump shot in 4 years. Leaky should be posting players up. Caleb Love has missed at least 100 layups an don't mentioned the floaters. This team is in serious trouble an as good of season it should have been looking at not making the tournament. They haven't beaten any quality teams. They are a play or two of being 7-7 in the ACC. Davis should of had Seth in the game he was doing a good job on Roach. He just doesn't know end of game situation. RJ can't stay in front of no one. He was beaten by Pitt and Duke at the end of the game. This has to be the biggest failure in ACC history.
Hubert Davis is the worst thing that has happened to UNC since Matt. He road off of Roy's coaching last year. This is on him. Watch his post game Q&A. He said he told them he was proud of their effort….lol…this team is soft and getting softer everyday because his inability to coach. He has slowed down UNC basketball to almost a halt. I really think he took this job to Proselytize and convert to his religion.
This is not a good UNC team. Can't wait for them all to graduate. Caleb Love is not the baller he thinks he is.
