The 19th-ranked Miami Hurricanes delivered with an 81-59 home win over the Duke Blue Devils. Norchad Omier led the Hurricanes in scoring with 17 points, and added 10 rebounds, 2 steals and a block in the win. Jordan Miller scored 16 points, Wooga Poplar added 14 and Isaiah Wong pitched in 11 as the Hurricanes shot 48% from the floor in the win. Ryan Young and Dereck Lively II led the Blue Devils with 11 points each.

get rid of scheyer now, this is not the duke I know, we need riq back and we need to play schutt, I know he is a defensive liability but if he can shoot just play him like the top 50 recruit he is. Duke needs shooting. I expect him to be playing some very key minutes in the tournament.

I put 5k on Miami to cover that spread… Didn't even watch the game. What the hell did they inject these boys? I took Duke against UNC and won that, but this juice was too good out in Miami..

Isn't it par for the course that as soon as Duke loses people go on Twitter and bash Duke left and right just because of their dislike for Duke! And deliberately ignoring the proper perspective in relation to the game itself! It's always "Duke sucks", "this is absolutely pathetic" or my favorite "this is the worst Duke team ever"! My God people gain some reality rather just rushing to passing judgment! We're talking about the youngest cumulative overall Duke team in their ACC conference history and a coach being put in this situation taking over for a legend! Here's a fact no one seems to mention – Duke is 17-7 with that youngest team and of our 24 games, we've played 1 full 40 minutes with our entire roster available and this was the third time already we've had to turn around after 1 off day (not really off days considering travel) and play on a Monday, this one being against the team I think right now is the best in the league! Duke was coming off an extremely taxing emotionally charged win against our most hated rival, have to travel almost 1,000 miles on an off day, then tip not even 48 hours after the Carolina win! I get the hatred for Duke but some need to see the game for the game before offering up their partial and biased opinions! Scheyer has gotten more out of this team than I expected! This result had more to do with the fact that Miami is the better team right now and they deserve all the credit
