The 14th-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels defeated Boston College, 73-55. Freshman Kayla McPherson was in the starting lineup that was missing three UNC regulars and delivered with a game-high 22 points, adding 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Kennedy Todd-Williams added 16 points and 9 rebounds, and Deja Kelly pitched in 12 points in the win for North Carolina. T’Yana Todd led Boston College with 14 points. The Eagles also got 11 points from All VanTimmeren and 11 rebounds to go along with 9 points from Andrea Daley.
