No. 23 NC State took the win over North Carolina at home, 77-69. The Tar Heels held a six-point lead late in the second half, but the Wolfpack exploded to a 29-15 run that finished off Carolina for good. Jarkel Joiner had a terrific day for NC State, as he scored 29 points, 20 of which came in the second half. Joiner made his final 7 shots of the game. DJ Burns feasted in the paint in the second half, picking up 14 points. Armando Bacot had a 16-point, 14-rebound double double in the loss while Caleb love scored 23.

Has there been a game all year when the Heels have a lead an Caleb Love turns the ball over. Up by 6 an he throws it in the bench. Hubert Davis is not the guy at UNC. He should of called timeout when they went up by 6 with the ball. These team can't handle fertility going back to last year's championship game. Puff Johnson is the only alpha on the team. Bacot was getting ate up by Burns. Poor Nance looked like JV player against. Burns just toyed with him. This team doesn't deserve a bid to a tournament of any kind. They just need to make this a part of history.
The problem with UNC is they never replaced Manek and they don't have any young guys pushing to break the starting lineup. Also Caleb Love shouldn't be the focus of this offense, not for one minute. And the fact they have no one else to get his points is pretty scary.

Besides Bacot being hurt mostly if not all of the season. Nance was a bust, Kevin Love has killed us all year and Hubert Davis is not a good head coach. Too much talent to be in this position. Recruiting is going to be tough, though and tougher. Tarheel fan since 1975.
