North Carolina At Chapel Hill

North Carolina class of 2024 commit Ian Jackson & his Cardinal Hayes team beat UNC target Boogie Fland and his Archbishop Stepinac team. Both players had the games you expect from players of their caliber with Jackson dropping 35 & Fland, 27. In addition to Jackson, Carolina already has 2024 commitments from Elliot Cadeau, Drake Powell, and James Brown. The prevailing thought is that the Heels are most likely to pick up a PF commit, like Jarin Stevenson, rather than Boogie Fland. However, with the possibility of re-classifications, don’t count out Fland. Could these two New Yorkers who just battled on the court wind up playing together in Chapel Hill?

Speaking of Stevenson, he attended the North Carolina at NC State game on Sunday. Is this a bad sign for the Heels, who lost the game? Additionally, the Wolfpack picked up a commitment following the game from 4-star Paul McNeil.
