No. 19 North Carolina only had a 6-point advantage at halftime, but took control against Wake Forest in the third quarter and never looked back in a 71-58 victory at home. The Tar Heels got it done down low, as they out-rebounded the Demon Deacons by 8 in the win. Deja Kelly dropped a game-high 24 points on 10-20 shooting, and she added 6 assists, 5 boards, and a pair of steals. Destiny Adams and Kennedy Todd-Williams were the only other Tar Heels to finish in double figures, combining for 21 points. For Wake, Jewel Spear had a team-high 19 points in the loss.
