No. 9 Virginia Tech finished off the season sweep over No. 22 North Carolina in style on the road with a 61-59 win. In a back-and-forth affair, it was Elizabeth Kitley’s night to shine, as she became the Hokies’ all-time leading scorer by finishing with a game-high 21 points (and 1,888 for her career). Not only that, she hit the game winner with the score tied at the buzzer. Kitley made it a double double with 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a block for good measure. Kayana Traylor followed up with 20 points, shooting 4-6 from three. Deja Kelly had the team-high 18 points and 6 assists to go with 4 rebounds for the Tar Heels. Alyssa Ustby had 9 points and 6 rebounds in her return.
