This has been the best 24 hours in Iowa History! First the men come back to beat Michigan St in OT, then the Iowa Baseball team beat #1 LSU, and now the women beat #2 Indiana on a last second three by Caitlin Clark.
Can someone tell me if there’s a greater comeback in the history of the sport?

Up 3 with a few seconds to play. Other team with the ball and is on fire — draining 3s like they're lay-ins. So, you obviously foul, right? You force the team to get the miracle: made FT, intentional miss FT, offensive rebound, and some kind of made shot. Obvious, right? No. Apparently, you let that red-hot team take another three to send it to OT. Somehow, that's the right coaching decision.
Michigan State didn't even do that much wrong. The one travel call but they made most of their free throws. Just unbelievable shooting and the ability to prolong the game.
Defense may not win championships all the time but without it, you will lose every time.
Mccaffery is truly the biggest jerk in coaching. I’ve never seen a coach more childish. I’ve seen angry coaches and firey coaches and foul mouth coaches, but mccaffery is a giant baby. No, not a spartan fan.

And that’s why you foul and slow the game down at the end. Oddly enough it wasn’t missed FT’s that kept them in b/c MSU hit almost all of them but damn Iowa couldn’t miss from 3. Can’t wait for the Madness were only a few days away from March!!
