RJ Davis took off his finger tape and had his 3rd double-double of the season – 16 points and 10 rebounds. North Carolina picks up a Quad 1 win. It’s not the first of the season, but the only 1 currently on the resume. Leaky Black & Nance each had 4 blocks. UNC has capability, now they search for consistency.

The men’s team travels to Tallahassee to take on Florida State in another all-important matchup on Big Monday against the Seminoles. A loss is devastating (Q3 game), while a win helps keep the Tar Heels’ at-large hopes alive.

We have to hope that Pete figured something out on Saturday and that his performance was not an outlier. We looked so good when he was locked into his role.
Florida State isn't a good team, but they are a talented and big team that I could see annoying our team. The guys have to go in and assert themselves right off the gate. They cannot take Florida State lightly. I'm not sure what to expect to be honest, but I'll be cheering for a good win tonight.

We know we can't go back in time and replay our 11 losses, but if we could, with everyone healthy, we could easily erase 7 of those 11 losses, maybe more. This is who we are. Just gotta be "consistent" from now on. I think we found our identity Saturday.

I hate to say it, but I'm still not sure we can trust this team. Performances in the Clemson and UVA game are more the exception and not the rule. It is really difficult to know whether they are coming out of the funk and are getting it right, or if they just happened to have a good shooting game. Until they string together several good performances, I'll have to stay cautiously optimistic.
Sorry. Wether TarHeels and/or Clemson are in is legit debatable. WVU in is BS. That's hype/ESPN effect.
