The Duke Blue Devils defeated NC State, 71-67 at Cameron Indoor. Jeremy Roach led Duke with 20 points in the win. Tyrese Procter and Mark Mitchell each scored 12 points, while Derek Lively II grabbed 12 rebounds and Kyle Filipowski scored 11 points and hauled in 14 rebounds for the Blue Devils. Jarkel Joiner did everything he could for the Wolfpack, scoring 26 points and securing 8 rebounds in the loss.

The disparity of foul calling was egregious and a big factor in the duke win. The Wolfpack couldn't make shots behind the arc and were still in the game despite all the duke players flopping like soccer players on little or no contact. Mark it down Unc will destroy the dookies at the Dean dome where the plot will twist as Carolina will be at the foul line many more times.

I'm happy that lively has finally come on a little bit still don't see how he was the number-one player come out of high school but Whitehead man and I know he's had some injuries but even when he's been healthy he just doesn't seem to put it together in my opinion Whitehead is definitely a candidate to come back for next season at Duke, how long will the few others these kids need to realize that just cuz you might get drafted high or I mean it's about having a long NBA career

It was just a few short weeks ago after a mentally exhausted Duke suffered it's meltdown at Miami that I posted on a YouTube highlight if we could ever get everyone healthy (EVERYONE) and begin to develop a consistent chemistry, that depth could provide the Devils a huge advantage they need being as young as they are! Well – here we are five games later and Duke has not lost with every key player available! It's a luxury the 2017 team was never able to attain after dealing with injuries until it was too late! This 2023 edition has the benefit of going into March with an improved team makeup! And as long as this continues and all who are available pitch in, it will make our Blue Devils a team no one wants to see in their regional bracket!
