I think the problem is actually the bottom of the league. Louisville and FSU were awful in the non-con. Their net is so bad that they tank whoever they play unless they get beaten by like 20 or 30. They are basically Q4 games that are as difficult as a Q3 or sometimes even a Q2 game.

If you were to tell me at the start of the season that the ACC regular season champion would be at risk of not making the tournament at all I’d laugh you out of the room
The underperforming UNC regular season won’t mean anything if they dance. Everybody starts over except that everybody is do or die. Talent will take over. If Caleb and Nance begin to consistently score to the expected they can run the table. Lotta ifs but still possible. Hope Unc gets an 8-9 seed or LOWER and Then look out.
