I am always amused by listening to an obvious UNC hater explain what the team should do.
Getting beat by an unranked Duke team twice is really bad!
Thank god Caleb Love is gone. He is a black hole where the ball goes to disappear. If he is off, UNC loses cause all he does is shoot. He let that Duke guard go right around him.
Yes but they where an 8 seed last year and next to that late season surge last year that unc team was mediocre at best. They got hot at the right time. This unc team is not good and they weren't very good except in March last year. Hubert Davis needs his own players. Case and point Brady Manek was a Hubert Davis guy
I blame Hubert. What would ole Roy say after games like this. " This is my fault I didn't coach these young men." Hubert was a college player a NBA player a ESPN analyst and a assistant coach. His analysis of this on ESPN would be what? Yeah I thought so. Duke called a time out,on that UNC run of ,what 5 or 6 points,. Duke makes a run and what. No time out. Pete no show Nance, was a NO SHOW! He should have been pulled. This is on coaching. What are they doing at practice? Do they make the shots? Are the practice players any good.? They are not game ready. They look nervous and scared.

I was all for HD as coach. There's no fast break in Carolina basketball?? There's no bench depth in Carolina basketball? Hurbert has to stress playing faster. Thats my only problem I have with him, but I think it's even bigger a problem than I am putting on. I don't even recognize this as Carolina basketball.
I'll agree with the new core if it includes Hubert Davis as #1 replacement!! Because , here is the big three point king and we have seen nothing but a nose dive in that dept. since game 1 this season!! And I don't care what you or anyone else says, Tyler Nickel leaves HS as Virginia's all time HS points leader and you can't do anything with that?? He scores 16 points in a game and sees hardly any time on the court since!! But Trimble, Johnson, Dunn and others do!! Don't get me wrong, the others don't get a lot of playing time either, because that would take too much time from hoping that Love comes out of his 20+ game slump!! Better hope and pray that Bacot and RJ come back!! At least until we have some guys ready to take their places!! I don't know!! All I know is, this is the laziest and whiniest starting 5 in the country and all the other teams see this as well!! Also no leadership or heart to be found anywhere on this team!! Just saying! But I'll keep this simple. If you are calling for Coach Davis to be fired after 2 years….. You are an idiot. I don't know if you are wrong though. Make sense? I think in most cases coaches should get 4 to 5 seasons. He's still playing with Roy's recruits for goodness sake.
UNC needs Roy’s last 2 recruiting classes to finally leave. He couldn’t even win with these guys.

As a fan, they definitely need a reset. I am not going to attack Hubert, but like y'all have said before the expectation is success, and before too soon Hubert might be looking like Dougherty 2.0. I'd love to see a reset and the core group move on, play overseas and have a long and great career. Let's see what the new faces can do.
The best thing that can happen is the entire starting 5 leaves besides RJ.
