Despite the ups and downs of the 2022-23 UNC season, we just can’t quit this team. Armando Bacot, Caleb Love, RJ Davis, and Leaky Black just keep pulling us back in. This team has the capability to win the ACC Tournament. What do they need to accomplish this week to either win the ACC Tournament or get enough wins to get an at-large NCAA Tournament bid.
Host Isaac Schade suggests 4 things Carolina needs to do in the ACC Tournament to find success. First, four games in four days is doable, but Carolina will have to utilize their depth. Second, UNC needs to get a lead, keep a lead, and extend a lead. Third, RJ Davis needs to be Carolina’s main facilitator. Fourth, and finally, the Heels have to have better shot selection.

The short answer is to hold an emergency session and expand field to 128. Also that would give them a correct seeding for their season.

I respect your opinion but your delusional this team isn’t good.Y’all let that 6 game stretch last season cloud your judgement on the core of this team has been bad for 3 seasons but yet people keep holding onto those 6 games but not the other 90 outside of those games
Hiped up, bs start of the season for Bacon and crew to make some nil dough. Coach Davis knew all along this team was a bust, but he knew how to get us in front of the media in the beginning so players could make bank locking in on endorsements.
Im not gonna sit here and act appreciative of this team. Be realistic preseason ranked number one in we are going to miss the tournament. I am not ashamed to say that I will not miss the majority of the starting lineup if they go.
Will never give up on the Tar Heels. Regardless of what happens during the ACC Tournament or with the NCAA Tournament, will always be grateful for these coaches and players. #CantStopWontStop loving the Tar Heels. 🥰

The best way not to re-examine another loss is to win every remaining game = National Championship

No matter what happens I love this team regardless and am proud of what they have accomplished individually and as a team. I had so much fun watching them last season. I am still hopeful but not expecting anything. They already said the pressure got to them and I'm not gonna add to that. Love this team! GO HEELS!
No bench, no dynamic scorer who can go inside and out (coulda/should been Leaky but I guess 5 years wasn't enough for him to develop any kind of offensive game?), weird coaching decisions (no plays for bacot or Nance inside, not calling time out to get bacot in crucial moment, long leash for guards who can't keep opposing backcourt in front of them)…this team is WEIRD weird.
Still gonna root for them and will forever love them for what they did last season (!!!) but…yikes.
Love these kids, and sticking with them no matter what. That doesn't mean it's been an easy ride, but like Roy used to say, the team and staff feel it 10,000 times more than any fan.
They live it.They are fantastic kids.They are our team. That's it. Now…I hope they can just win one at a time, and block out all of the noise (well, except of course they should take OUR advice LOL).

I will truly miss these guys I know it's not the season we want it to go this way but I will always love this team North Carolina because ride-or-die win or lose I will always truly remember these memories of this season with these guys that put on these North Carolina uniforms that gave it all they had I will truly miss them if some some of them do decide to come back next season
Caleb is more effective playing in space. With both Armando and Pete on the court there are no driving lanes for the guards. That is why we miss Brady so much. He was able to space the floor.
It seems like we know what to expect from Armando, Leaky, and RJ Davis but Pete and Caleb are wildly inconsistent on offense. I think Coach has to challenge those guys to be aggressive and to score the ball. If they don't score, we don't win. The ball can't stick in one spot. It's got to rotate like a hot potato until we get the shot from the spot we want and from the guy we want to take it. This team needs input and feedback before and during the game. They have to start quickly both halves. They have to shoot 35% or better from deep which means prioritizing who gets to take the 3 pointers. Coach has to be willing to sit Caleb down and get him refocused at times and the same for Pete. He has to keep their heads in the game. Do those things and the magic might return.

Pete is the best passer on the team period. Rj is the better ball handler, but he's not a lead guard. He over dribbles. On breaks instead of scanning the court and throwing the outlet past he dribbles uo into the defense. So he's no better. Love is just horrible. He's a roll player at best for duke or any other top tier team . Bacotvis just bigger than everybody. He has no post moves or shot that's why it's easy to defend him.
Manek instilled so much confidence in the other four starters. Nance hasn't done that, unfortunately. That long range bomber is such an intricate part for this team to win and advance. Pete doesn't handle the pressure, period. He was so much more reliable at Northwestern where there was no pressure. Too many "what if's" for me to trust this team. Mondos game is too limited. He never developed that 12 foot jumper, like Burns. He's just too predictable and easy to guard.
I now believe they have to at least play in the ACC championship game to make ncaas. Maybe 2 wins but I doubt it.
I see lunardi did a little cya and moved em up to last 4 in. Which is more reasonable. Still don't see how Wisconsin is ahead of them. But whatever. Win a few dudes.
Regardless of what happens for the rest of this season, thanks Isaac for being such a positive figure despite the frustration and disappointment. Last season was some of the most fun I've ever had as a Tar Heel, and I will always cherish these guys for that no matter what. I too am thankful for Pete; he chose to spend his final, fifth year as a Tar Heel, and he is a Tar Heel for life now. And Leaky and Armando; those guys just bleed Tar Heel blue. I'll miss both of them so much (Mando could come back one more year but I'll still miss him regardless). It's always a great day to be a Tar Heel!
I'm thankful for all the memories this team have brought me and my family. I've watched every game with both my daughters and they've grown to love this team as much or even more than me. Thank you to all the returning players from last and even Pete Nance especially hitting that turn around jumper against nc state.

I agree that RJ should be the primary ball handler. Love should play the 2 but try drive to basket more. He needs to get to the line and help Armando get defenders in foul trouble. Also, Pete Nance has to knock down those open shots, but also drive to the basket for dunks. Pass to the open man or drive to the basket whever possible. Unfortunately this year, we have to force the refs respect us, and make the proper calls…

I can't quit them either. I'll never give up on them. They are super talented team as we seen last year for a stretch. Fully locking in is a must. No way I'm giving up on them. I believe in them they haven't given me much to believe in this year but I still think they can get the job done with there backs against the wall. Unc needs to flip that switch. I love these players, This team could have 6 or 7 losses if they just played decent down the stretch. So tough but they aren't far off
