North Carolina, with an extremely limited Armando Bacot, didn’t have enough to get past Virginia in the ACC Tournament Quarterfinal round and consequently UNC is likely headed for the NIT. RJ Davis continued his hot shooting, but it wasn’t enough. The Tar Heels fought admirably, closing to within a possession or two on multiple occasions, but they could never re-gain a lead. North Carolina will become the first-ever AP Preseason No. 1 team to miss the NCAA Tournament since it expanded to 64 teams back in 1985. Up next, the Tar Heels will wait to hear their postseason fate, which will most likely be the NIT.

This is why when you start the beginning of the season to be rank#1,it was a mistake,what happened last year was a fluke. We knew they are not ready for that,2022-2023 rank higher. a lot Carolina fan base don’t agree that they should not ever ranked higher, the beginning of the season.thanks to sportswriters, and I think this why we more focus on rankings than we play games,that’s why we lost a lot of game. so enjoy your summer this year and start all over again next season.❤

Hear me out, They all come back, but we have Simeon come off the bench and provide good playing time when Love or RJ go cold. Re-class Ian Jacoskon to take Leaky's spot…not a bad roster there. This while also having a year experience from the bench players who could blossum during the offseason….
