The bubble was full of losers and winners on Thursday. North Carolina fell to Virginia and will become the first AP Preseason No. 1 to miss the NCAA Tournament in the 64-team era. Michigan, Nevada, Oklahoma St. are also among Thursday’s losers and on the wrong side of the bubble. Several teams helps their cause on Thursday, perhaps none more than Arizona St and Clemson. Penn St, Utah St, Oregon, Rutgers, and Vandy were some of the other bubble winners.
Several teams are peaking at just the right time heading into March Madness. That includes Gonzaga, UConn, and Duke.
The major conference tournaments have been really chalky thus far. Will we see more movement on Friday?
Coach Bill Self is in the hospital and won’t coach in the Big 12 Tournament.
