Exactly. The AD should have accepted the invite for the coaching staff, not necessarily the players. Terrible decision imo.

Either way Hubert Davis is in big trouble because in Chapel Hill you can't go from preseason number 1 to missing The NCAA Tourney and expect to not be on the hot seat. My opinion UNC should've said yes to The NIT that way they could show The NCAA Committee whether they made a good decision or not on UNC.
