Conflicting reports surfaced on Tuesday about UNC’s decision to decline the NIT invitation. Dontrez Styles said that it was the coach’s decision. USA Today published an article in which they interviewed the fathers of Caleb Love, D’Marco Dunn, and Puff Johnson, who each said the decision was up to the players. Regardless of the truth, what we learn is that not everyone is on the same page.

Wonder how many more going to transfer? I think it’s going to be easier said than done just for unc to go in the transfer portal and just grab who they want we are slacking on the NIL money and players want that money that’s why we didn’t get Mayer last year . He wanted money up front and that’s not the unc way with NIL. Plus Hubert not given the bench playing time everyone knows that by now, so going to be negative impact in recruiting and the portal I think

I think Duke recruits stronger players that can shoot and block shots North Carolina used to be like that but now we recruit most of the leftover players that may have a little bit of talent they should recruit like Alabama did in football and with the class of North Carolina you should be a special player to be recruited.

If they accepted the NIT and Bacot didn't play which allowed the bench guys to play it would not ended on a good note. It's bad enough to not make the tournament but it's even worst to lose in the NIT.
Hubert Davis is lying about the NIT just like he promised the kids they would play more this year. He played the bench excluding Puff Johnson a total of 139 mins. Then embarrassed a kid an put him in for 14 second. That does something to anybody's thought process. Out of 365 school UNC finished 332 in bench minutes. Davis is not a good fit here. I'm starting to question his truth telling. No way Styles Dunn and Nickel should of been on the bench while Nance and love stink up the place.
Why are we making excuse for the Basketball coach for UNC? We are not a training school level program yet. HD is starting out on a similar path as Matt, and there is no savior sitting in the wings. Matt knew how to run a program, but wasn't a personality fit. And am I wrong, but Duke just won the ACC tourney with a second year coach.
I’m not sold on Hubert’s X and Os. Last year we made the championship game by running horn action and a lot of ball screens. This year we rarely ran horns or any consistent offense at all looked like 40mins of free playing. This next year Hubert needs to prove he can actually coach especially since next year is all his players
