The 2022-23 season is over and it’s time to take a look back before we move fully on to the 2023-24 season. We start with the backcourt and the four scholarship guards: Caleb Love, RJ Davis, D’Marco Dunn, and Seth Trimble.
Isaac Schade & Coach Pac Kilby look back at the good things that happened for the backcourt this season as well as the things that didn’t go as well. Pac puts on his coaching hat and discusses the things that the backcourt needs to do this offseason as they prepare to welcome Simeon Wilcher and work to leave behind the frustrations of this season.

I've been a Demarco Dunn fan since day one. Athletic and is a good shooter. His defense will improve with time.
Trimble will develop his shot this off season.
RJ is amazing, but must work on his defense. He losses his man on high screens, then Mondo has to foul to stop RJs man. Not a good look for RJ. I hope Caleb is gone, then Wilcher can slide right in to the rotation.

Need you to address these Ian Jackson rumors
They waste too much time focusing on trying to get the ball to Bacot. Then Caleb Love gets blamed for taking a bad shot as the shot clock is about to expire.
RJ Davis has to be one of the lowest rated point guards in UNC history with 3 years as a starter. He'd rather shoot than pass. He doesn't set guys up for easy baskets. He's not a floor general. He's terrible defensively. The other team's point guards took advantage of his height. Opposing teams freshman would have their best games of the season against RJ.
We need a coach who can play Freshman sometimes and so far its looking like Mr Davis is not that guy!
