North Carolina landed their third transfer commitment of the offseason on Thursday – Notre Dame’s Cormac Ryan. Ryan joins Paxson Wojcik and Jae’lyn Withers as players coming to Chapel Hill via the portal. Ryan brings a wealth of experience and leadership from his years spent at both Stanford and Notre Dame.
Not only is he capable of knocking down shots from outside, he averages four rebounds a game and 2.5 assists and knocks down 80% of his free throws. Host Isaac Schade is of the opinion that he’s actually a better fit for the Tar Heels than Nick Timberlake would have been (although would have gladly welcomed Timberlake as well!).
How will Ryan fit in? What will his role be? Will he play the 2 or the 3? Will he be a starter or a bench player? The answers to some of these questions will be determined by who else transfers to UNC.

what do you use in your hair or what kind of routine do you do? I have had long curly hair in the past and wanted to know if you had any recommendations
Can't get right is the new name for my Tarheels there is no excitement in this class of players I think the pee wee league could beat us bring in no excitement to the program not worth watching I never thought UNC basketball would be in this shape.
All we need is Ingram or someone that can play the 3. As of now we have 10 guys (11 if a 3 commits). You’re crazy if you think Hubert will play more than 9 or 10. High and someone else will be on the bench all year
We don't need shooters (you know where this is going) we need MAKERS!! And Cormac is just that. I look forward to this squad, no matter who comes in, still would love to see the next 3 scholarships going to Ingram, Cadeau (really really want a reclass), and a 4/5 position. GO HEELS
Everyone thought Nance was a better fit
We're pretty loaded and old vets we should be a good to very good unc season.. as of today right now starting line up…. 1 Davis, 2 Wilcher, 3 Ryan, 4 withers, 5 Bacot. Let me know what ya think about that prediction
I agree. I feel like Cormac is a better fit and proven that he can play in the ACC and would be a perfect fit in the offense. If Coach Davis can get Ingram or Cleveland, that would be a huge plus on wing. I know that Louisville (4-28 last year) and the G-League are options for Mgbako, but with his skill set, he could shine at UNC. He can complement Armando, especially with his mid-range game. Jalen Washington I think could also have a breakout year as well.
