North Carolina vs. Boston College: The top-seeded Eagles defeated the third-seeded Tar Heels, 11-9 in the 2023 ACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship. This was the second year in a row, and fourth time in the last five tournaments, that Boston College and North Carolina have met in the championship game, and this is BC’s first-ever ACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship. Eagle’s goaltender Shea Dolce had two saves in the championship game and 19 saves across the three games and was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Boston College trailed 9-6 with just under eight minutes left in the third quarter, and the Eagles scored five unanswered goals to close out the game. Kayla Martello had three goals and an assist for BC, while McKenna Davis had three assists and a goal. Cassidy Weeks, Courtney Weeks, and Andrea Reynolds each scored two goals. For North Carolina, Alyssa Long, Olivia Dirks, and Melissa Sconone each scored two goals.
