North Carolina has lacked a true shot-blocking defensive presence for quite some time now. Walker Kessler brought that, but didn’t get enough playing time for it to play a massive role. Oklahoma State transfer Moussa Cisse would provide exactly that role for the Tar Heels in the 2023-24 season (and possibly one more after). Would he be willing to play a backup role to Armando Bacot? Would Cisse’s addition limit Jalen Washington’s impact? We’re once again faced with that transfer portal conundrum.
We learned of Simeon Wilcher and Zayden High’s final class of 2023 rankings at 247Sports. Host Isaac Schade is befuddled as to why they continue to fall, but suggests why the lower ranking could be a positive for the Tar Heels.
Carolina will play UConn in the Jimmy V Classic. The men’s and women’s tennis teams will advance to the NCAA Super Regional Round.

He not going to transfer to be a backup when he started at both Memphis and Oklahoma state. UNC4L!
That free throw percentage is a major red flag. Could be nice but end of game situations, he'd be a liability.

Cisse would be a better fit as a starter. Coming off the bench, I don't see how he would be as impactful. Would have been a great option if Bacot left, with all the shooters we will have.
