For this unc team it’s a blue blood school so it’s really embarrassing and they’d be kicking a dead horse and all those teams weren’t the preseason number 1 team in the nation so it’s not embarrassing for them

This isn’t an argument against player development. We were WORSE than almost all the teams in the nation.

What no one is saying or even alluding to is the fact that Davis & co. feel the need to clean up the program. They’ve been hungover on last year’s success the entire season long. So Davis & staff will look at themselves and the team, and re-evaluate the program and players. They will let those kids that want out, out, and the transfer portal will shake a few their way; they’ll bounce back next year
They should play. The kids need the game time. Even if it's lesser competition.
The NIT is NOT prestigious. And UNC are a bunch of sore losers
