North Carolina has made many inquiries in the transfer portal, most of which is due to major roster upheaval this offseason with players like Caleb Love and Puff Johnson transferring out. The most serious connection in awhile is West Virginia transfer (and England native) F James Okonkwo. Okonkwo is set to visit Chapel Hill on July 24 after hopefully competing for his home country in the upcoming FIBA U20 Euro Championships. The question is: Is this the right Mountaineer to target?

Okonkwo is what UNC needs. Armando has desperately needed insurance because he is injury prone and can get gassed. Having a guy like Okonkwo who can help with the little things can really go a long way. I like his size and athleticism.
