Hubert got called out for not playing the bench. He is on a seat so hot that even Satan won't sit on and has to play guys. I expect a platoon system.

Are there legitimate questions about what Davis will do? Sure. But to extrapolate that he won't play guys this year is a mistake. Last year, when looking at his bench, should he have given Nickle, Puff, Trez and Dunn more opportunities? Yes. But did they deserve it? Probably not. None of them did anything remotely well to believe that they were at the level necessary to play at this level.
But we don't need to guess if Cormac Ryan can play at this level. He already has. So has Withers, Paxson and Ingram. All of them have put in work at the D1 level to a high degree, so there is no question whether they will be able to play for UNC. Okonkwo was acquired as insurance for a Bacot injury and to provide Bacot with an athletic big to test him in practice.
You need to talk about baseball or something.
And those numbers of bench usage that you are talking abt are all guys that were sophomores and freshman. So OFC they aren’t going to be seeing the floor that much. These guys are older. Have played a ton of basketball and can simply just be more trusted and fit better. It’s really not that hard to understand.
Sometimes I question why you have a podcast. Sometimes you make okay takes but damn you don’t understand basketball. This guy transferred knowing he’s only gonna get around 10min a game. He’s the perfect backup for when mando needs a breather, a possible rolled ankles and just for the fact we finally have a bigger and athletic body he can go against in practice which he hasn’t had since his sophomore year. Withers will certainly play, and wojick is coming in knowing he will only be getting spot minuets for set plays because the dude can shoot. You’re spitting these stats out but don’t mention he was only playing 11min a game at WVU. He’s raw talent who is very athletic, can block shots and rebound when Armando is out. Unlike the last 2 years where we have literally had know one that can fill Armando’s spot with his kind of frame. How in TF do you have a sports podcast??
