North Carolina men’s basketball released their full 11-game non-conference schedule on Wednesday, which includes five home games and six neutral site games, with zero true road games mixed in. The Heels will bookend the non-conference schedule with three buy games on the front end (Radford, Lehigh, UC Riverside) and one more (Charleston Southern) on the back end. In between Carolina will have seven “event-type” games – three at the Battle 4 Atlantis, the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge (Tennessee), Jimmy V Classic (UConn), CBS Sports Classic (Kentucky), and the Jumpman Invitational (Oklahoma). The ACC will likely sprinkle in a conference game or two during that portion of the schedule. Isaac Schade believes the Heels can go 9-2 in the non-con.
Transfer WR Devontez Walker had his waiver to play this season at UNC denied by the NCAA this week. It’s a non-sensical move by the NCAA and people all around the sports world are incensed.

We played the Kentucky Wildcats at Rupp Arena which is their home arena December 3rd 2011 and got beat by one when Anthony Davis blocked John Henson's shot at the buzzer and UK went on to win the National Championship in 2012.
