North Carolina has an overhauled roster complete with five transfers (Harrison Ingram, Cormac Ryan, Paxson Wojcik, Jae’lyn Withers, James Okonkwo) and two freshmen (Elliot Cadeau, Zayden High), plus the four returning scholarship players (RJ Davis, Armando Bacot, Seth Trimble, Jalen Washington). Milligan University head basketball coach Bill Robinson has been working UNC basketball camp for two decades and had the opportunity this summer to see the 2023-24 Tar Heels up close and personal. He likes what he sees out of this team; a group he believes will share the ball more capably, run more, and utilize more depth. Coach has high praise for Elliot Cadeau’s development, seeing even more Ty Lawson in him than Kendall Marshall.

I went to Owen High School, and Porky is a good friend of mine. My football coach while I was at Owen. Jess Gardner is a friend of mine, a year younger, we have played ball together since we were 5-6 years old. I knew Coach Robinson's name sounded familiar. Gonna send Porky and Jess this show after I watch it. True story. My mom taught at Owen while Roy was there and Roy would come to our house for dinner when I was a baby. I have a picture of Roy holding me when I was 2. That's wild, small world..

Where do the minutes come from? Make the minutes more intense and meaningful by putting more energy into them with a fast-paced game a la Arkansas with their "40 Minutes of Hell" back in the 1990s. Have everyone go full-energy with the understanding that they would soon get a breather. Then Rinse-and-Repeat, with the goal of wearing the other team down. The thing that makes this not work is turnovers, but this team is guard-strong and has the potential to do 40MoH effectively.
