It’s simply not time to have that conversation, for a multitude of factors. Moreover, everything suggests that Carolina will be back in a much better position this year with RJ Davis and Armando Bacot running the show along with a host of transfers (Harrison Ingram, Cormac Ryan, and more), the returning sophomores (Jalen Washington, Seth Trimble), and the incoming freshmen (Elliot Cadeau, Zayden High).

Improvement is likely all anyone needs to see. I have faith Hubert will deliver in this area this year.

I agree with your points, especially the recruiting points. Theyre gonna let him coach his guys, let his team (and college basketball in general) adjust to all the absolutely WILD changes happening in college ball. Another thing in his favor: ruining coach Ks farewell two times! Including winning unc/duke sole meet up in the final four! Hes a legend for that
That said, he's definitely on the hot seat, he's gonna have to prove that he can manage the team in-game and that whatever drama behind the scenes in recent years was a blip and not a norm. I personally don't think he should be fired, but I do belive he *could* be fired based on the optics of how he's coaching (play the bench, in-game adjustments, fluidity on offense, winning close games)
The same people who have him on this so-called hot seat now are the same ones who placed him on the hot seat almost three years ago. God forbid UNC has one bad season. Omg we missed out on a 5* recruit. The world is coming to an end. These people love to push the panic button. Just be a fan a see how that works out for you!!! Dadgum!!!
im a tarheel fan but how is it does Scheyer keep his team intact and add probably the best recruiting class available…this is not the Tarheel way..maybe its his Asst coaches..just because you played at Carolina doesnt mean you can coach at Carolina..Im sorry but Robinson was a coach at Carolina..he should have been offered and let him make the decision..that didnt happen..in my opinion that was a mistake
They missed the tourney which is unacceptable at unc…of course he's on the hot seat…..this is a make or break year ..
