The 2023-24 UNC Basketball Roster Preview series continues, moving to the grad transfers. We’ve already tackled the incoming freshmen (Elliot Cadeau and Zayden High), the two returning sophomores (Seth Trimble and Jalen Washington), plus the two juniors (Stanford transfer Harrison Ingram and West Virginia transfer James Okonkwo), the lone scholarship senior (RJ Davis) and Jae’lyn Withers.
Today we tackle Brown transfer Paxson Wojcik. Wojcik move from the Ivy League to the ACC as a 6’5 shooter who’s made 36% of his career threes. Is the translatable to UNC? Wojcik is not just a shooter, but averaged seven rebounds and three assists last season in 34 MPG. How much will he play at UNC and what will he average? Why do I believe UNC will be a Final 4 team ? Great shooting and a great big man with help inside finally.
Would love to see him be the spark off the bench, 5-6 points 2-3 rebounds and a couple of assists, more would be better but those numbers would be a big plus for this team
