We are just 2 days away from kickoff of the 2023 football season as North Carolina travels to Charlotte to play South Carolina at Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers, in the Duke Mayo Classic. For the Tar Heels, it’s a massive opportunity to rebound from the four-game losing streak that ended the 2022 season, while simultaneously affirming their place in the top 25 and Drake Maye’s Heisman and top-end-of-the-NFL-Draft candidacy.
For Mack Brown’s team, they’ll need to avoid starting the season the same way they did in Sam Howell’s last year – a season-opening loss in Blacksburg to Virginia Tech. The Tar Heels will have to shake off the potential loss of Tez Walker while keeping their emotions in check from the events of earlier in the week on Carolina’s campus.

The offensive line and defensive line for UNC will decide this game. O Line has to open holes to run the ball and give Drake time. Defensive Line needs to be able pressure to give the secondary a chance for UNC.

Can you explain why NCSU's new kicker; Brayden Narveson a transfer who played at ISU & WKU is eligible to play at NCSU when Tez Walker who only played at 1 school (Kent State) and never played for NC Central is not eligible at UNC?
Can you ask someone with the sports administration to ask the NCAA about this disparity?
