We’ve already tackled the incoming freshmen (Elliot Cadeau and Zayden High), the two returning sophomores (Seth Trimble and Jalen Washington), plus the two juniors (Stanford transfer Harrison Ingram and West Virginia transfer James Okonkwo), the lone scholarship senior (RJ Davis) and the grad transfers (Jae’lyn Withers, Paxson Wojcik, and Cormac Ryan). Today we tackle our final scholarship player and the guy you’ve been waiting for – Armando Bacot.

No way should the rules be changed for Bacot to get his jersey in the rafters! He has definitely not shown anything on the court to prove he deserves it. Hopefully this year he will hang a jersey legitimately, but if not, then this period of UNC history is best forgotten.
I’m torn on Bacot. These last years, other than the half year fluke, have been very bad & he disappeared last year every time we needed him. But he does promote UNC a lot & has shown some toughness.
After what happened to him in the Final Four 2022 , I'd love to see Armando get 1 more chance and be healthy this time. Go Heels!!!
