UNC PROJECTED Top 15 Frontcourt/Backcourt – but not top 20 overall? | Caleb Wilson schedules visit

The Almanac included North Carolina’s frontcourt as the seventh-ranked frontcourt in Division I with the return of Armando Bacot, along with the likes of Harrison Ingram, Jae’lyn Withers, and Jalen Washington, while the backcourt is ranked 15th thanks to the return of RJ Davis, plus Elliot Cadeau, Seth Trimble, Cormac Ryan, and Paxson Wojcik. The weird thing is that as a team, the Almanac ranks Carolina 24th. That doesn’t seem to add up. Something has to be missing.

The ACC and SEC released the specific details of the inaugural ACC / SEC Challenge on Monday. North Carolina will host Tennessee at 7:15pm ET on ESPN on Wednesday, November 29.

Caleb Wilson (class of 2025) has scheduled a UNC visit for the weekend of November 11. Another high-ranking class of 2025 – Darryn Peterson has cut down his list of schools and included the Tar Heels.

The Tar Heel Huddle says:

As rough as it was to watch C. Love play last year and not live up to the previous year, he will always be a Carolina LEGEND due to that tourney run where he went BONKERS all the way to National Championship Game! UNC was in control of that game until the end. I hate that he left without a title! Would have been an exclamation point on one of the greatest tournament runs in history!

One thing that I'm super excited to see in 23-24 is EC getting RJ open! RJ could make himself a lot of money this year despite being a smaller guard. And I'm additionally excited to see Armando getting some easier looks. Last year he had to work for everything that he got. Need a Natty for Bacot!

Great episode as always, IS!

Lafayette Dickens says:

The ranking is probably an indictment on the coach.

BIGG KUSH says:

I definitely wanna see the HEELZZZZ play AND I DEFINITELY WANNA SEE THE HOGZZZZ TAKE ON DUKE I ALWAYS SAY DUKE GETS ALL THE EASY GAMES AND AND THE RECRUITS GO TARHEELZZZZ

BIGG KUSH says:

God bless all EVERYDAYER BIGG KUSH CHECKING in

John Cramer says:

I think by having EC being a pure point guard the offense will run smoothly and it will free up a lot of easy shots for a Mondo ON THE DEFENSIVE END IS WHAT I'M CONCERNED ABOUT

Tony Dowd says:

Morning Issac. TD here. Another everydayer.
As much as we get excited over hich-school standouts with all that talent, I have come to realize most of those guys are one and dones. I'm beginning to lean more towards the transfer portal, plucking experienced players from schools where they have proven themselves to be assets at a higher level already on the college scene. Kinda like picking the best fruit off the tree of experience. This coming season will tell us more about how that's going to work.
Have a blessed day….
Go HEELS

Eric Spencer says:

Excellent video as always. I think the reasons the Heels are so low right now is due to size in the backcourt and how the pieces are going to fit. Davis and Cadeau are 6’0” and 6’1”, Ryan 6’5”, Ingram 6’7”, and of course Mando. There is depth but that can be a rebounding issue with the potential starters, especially with bigger guards. Keep in mind the Heels had a huge size advantage at the 3 with Leaky being 6’9” and being a great defender. Also, the complete overhaul of the team is something we will all have to see. I think they have it right until we can see how well they gel together.

wait is kihei clark still playing?
