Bench shoulder be used big minutes in those first 3 games. That'll make those guys feel more like a team. Elliott will be fine for sure by ACC play in January. I'm more worried about who will be Bacots help inside with scoring and rebounding along with defensive presence..

They have to swarm teams. Just absolutely play all the guys, run teams, get shots up and defend HARD knowing thst if you get tired or in foul trouble, someone can sub for you. We have *so* much talent this year, there's no excuse!
If we don't play guys, no one will want to come here. It's that simple.
let's face it if some of those guys can. acclimate quickly that were mentioned like Coby and Cole then Elliott shouldn't have a problem. not saying that he is those guys. but let's face it. his game should translate better and easier than the previous two just because of how savvy, intelligent and a far superior passer than those two, we're not asking him to come in and be a scorer just facilitate the ball which he is far capable of doing. apparently at the international level and the highest level in prep school. I would be shocked if he wasn't ready from day one. more so than probably any recruit that I've seen in a long time
My biggest What If is that I think Creighton player who broke Kendall Marshall's wrist on a hard foul, and UNC almost beat Kansas with like the 4th-string guard anyway – near the end of the game he throws a pass right to a Kansas player leading to a fast break layup that basically decided the game, close even with no where near your best guard. I suspect that wrist gave Kentucky the natty that year, as with Marshall it likely would have been a UNC natty. Then farther back there is the near-identical situation with Kenny Smith's hard foul to his hand that likely cost UNC another natty. What If #3 is the I think 2019 team that got the flu and just could not do anything against Auburn, a team that they should have beaten. This was a 1-seed team with Cam Johnson, Colby White, Luke Maye, and Little, and likely another lost natty due to the vagaries of college basketball.
***The Not Using Your Bench What If – You do not want to give your recruiting competitors ammunition such as "If you go to Carolina and do not start then you don't play" or "Carolina does not develop its players so if you want to grow don't go there." Playing your bench = Player Development.
