EVERYDAYER BIGG KUSH CHECKING IN I see Washington as a player to be ready to baring injury he's been injured for so long now it's time to bring his talent to the main stage I feel he's a stretch 4 that could open up the inside for bacot I feel his defense will be ok just move the feet and stay in front of the person you are guarding go tarheelzzzz
Washington is kind of a tweener in that he is so long and he has good post moves but he is not quick enough to guard stretch four type players. Jalen has to improve on his strength and quickness. He has the overall tools to be an exceptional player for us. Jalen needs confidence and he will get that with improved PT
I don't get why we keep playing Jalen at the five spot when clearly his skill set is stretch four. He can shoot and put it on the deck.
Love Jalen's offense! Still not sure how he fits in on defense…. Hopefully his lateral quickness has improved, and he's stronger, because last year, he was neither able to guard the stronger post players, nor the quicker players on the wing…. Let's see it, Jalen!!
I have always said that Washington reminds me of an Antoine Jamison type player. He could be huge for the Heels.
I've thought for months we've been selling Jalen Washington short. He brings things to the table that he was specifically recruited for.
If Cadeau averages 10 assist. Those other two will automatically shoot 40 percent from 3 or very close to it IMO !!!
We didn't have one 40% three point shooter last year. I think RJ was at 36% and no one else was close. One more decent shooter last year would have changed some games. Two guys shooting over 40% would make us very dangerous. Similar to our last championship run in, I think 2017
