North Carolina beat St. Augustine’s, 117-53, in its exhibition tuneup on Friday at the Smith Center. R.J. Davis led all scorers with 22 points — 20 of which came in the first half. Harrison Ingram filled the box score with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 blocks. Two Tar Heels posted double-doubles, with Armando Bacot posting 13 points and 10 rebounds, and freshman Zayden High posting 10 points and 11 rebounds (plus three blocks).
