North Carolina At Chapel Hill

North Carolina played their lone public exhibition last Friday against St. Augustine’s. 1:42 in, the score was RJ Davis 8, St. Aug’s 0, and that’s all you need to know. Carolina looked sharp, locked in, and shared the ball well. Armando Bacot and freshman Zayden High, who’s been a revelation, both recorded double-doubles while Stanford transfer Harrison Ingram fell a rebound shy of doing the same. Elliot Cadeau and Davis are going to be trouble in the backcourt. Cormac Ryan brings a toughness (& quick trigger) that UNC desparately needed last season.

Carolina football unfortunately suffered a second-straight defeat on Saturday, this time at the hands of Georgia Tech. Drake Maye did everything he could, but the defense looked gassed in the 4th quarter. Tez Walker took a vicious hit as Carolina was driving to take the lead late, was eventually transferred to a hospital, but returned to Chapel Hill on Sunday
